DIRECTIONS FROM THE NORTHEAST VIA ROUTE 78 WEST:

• Follow 78 W to Pennsylvania exit 14 A - Route 100 South.
• Take 100 South to Schantz Road. The distance from 100 to this exit is only about ¼ mile. It is the second light and there is a sign that points toward Reading.
• Follow Schantz Road to the Stop sign (several miles) where Schantz Road merges with 222 South.
• Follow 222 South to Reading. As you get closer to Reading you will be given the option of taking 222S to Lancaster or Business 222S to center city Reading. You will continue on Business 222 South to Center City Reading.
• As you enter Reading, you will be on Fifth Street, where you will pass many fast food restaurants and small shopping areas. After you pass the Fairgrounds Square Mall (on your right) and K-Mart (on your left), you will go through 2 more traffic lights and then take the 12East (Pricetown) exit, which exits to the left.
• It should take approximately 20 -25 minutes to drive from Schantz Road to Route 12 E.
• On 12 East you will immediately exit to your right onto 11th Street. Continue down the exit ramp to your right and onto 11th Street.
• At the first traffic light (about 2 blocks) turn left onto Rockland Street. Proceed to the next traffic light (2 blocks) and turn right onto 13th Street.

DIRECTIONS FROM THE NORTH VIA PA TURNPIKE NORTHEAST EXTENSION: (UPPER NEW YORK STATE)

• Follow 81 South to the North East Extension of the PA Turnpike, Route 476.
• Follow 476 South to Route 22 West to Route 222 South.
• Follow 222 South to Reading. As you get closer to Reading you will be given the option of taking 222S to Lancaster or Business 222S to center city Reading. You will continue on Business 222 South to Center City Reading.
• As you enter Reading, you will be on Fifth Street, where you will pass many fast food restaurants and small shopping areas. After you pass the Fairgrounds Square Mall (on your right) and K-Mart (on your left), you will go through 2 more traffic lights and then take the 12East (Pricetown) exit, which exits to the left.

DIRECTIONS FROM THE NORTH VIA ROUTE 61 SOUTH:

• Follow Route 61 South into Leesport where you will turn left onto Route 73 East.
• This intersection is landmarked by the Gran Prix Family Raceway and the Leesport Family Restaurant, which precede the traffic light.
• Follow Route 73 East approximately 3 miles to the traffic light at the intersection of Route 222 South.
• Turn right onto Route 222 South. After about the first mile you will need to stay to the left and proceed on Business 222 South to Laureldale and Center City Reading.
• After passing through the intersection of Kutztown Road you will begin seeing many retail and fast food establishments. After passing a K-Mart on your left and the Fairgrounds Square Shopping Mall on your right, you will proceed through two more traffic lights to the Route 12 East (Pricetown) Exit, which exits to the left. (The distance from 222 to 12 is about 6 miles)
• On 12 EAST you will immediately exit to your right onto 11 Street.
• Continue down the exit ramp to your right and onto 11th Street.
• At the traffic light (about 2 blocks) turn left onto Rockland Street. Proceed to the next traffic light (2 blocks) and turn right onto 13th Street.

DIRECTIONS FROM THE SOUTH:

Baltimore and Washington, DC (Interstate 83 North), York (Route 30 East), and Lancaster (Route 222 North)

• From the Baltimore Beltway (Interstate 695), access Interstate 83N.
• Follow 83 North to Route 30 East.
• Take 30 East to 222 North. When the expressway ends, proceed North on 222 through municipal areas toward Reading. (In Shillington, 222 is also known as Lancaster Avenue.) (Landmarks: You will go through a 5-way intersection that intersects with Route 724. Approximately 2.5 miles past that intersection you will come to a traffic light that intersects with Route 10. There is also a Queen City Restaurant on your right.) Just past that last traffic light you will go under an overpass and then make a left turn to follow 222North/422West.
• 222N/422W is a bypass that goes around the city of Reading.
• Follow this by-pass approximately 2 miles and take the 12East (Pricetown) exit. (You will pass exits for West Reading and the North Wyomissing Blvd. prior to the 12 E exit)
• Follow 12 EAST approximately 2.5 miles to the 11th Street Exit. Continue down the exit ramp to your right and onto 11th Street.
• At the traffic light (about 2 blocks) turn left onto Rockland Street. Proceed to the next traffic light (2 blocks) and turn right onto 13th Street.

  DIRECTIONS FROM THE EAST VIA PA TURNPIKE: (INTERSTATE 76 WEST)

• Take the Pennsylvania Turnpike, 76 W to Exit 22 (Morgantown).
• Follow the signs to Interstate 176 N. Follow 176 N to 422 W (Reading).
• 422 West will merge with 222 North as you enter the Reading area. This is a "by-pass" which goes around the city.
• Follow this by-pass approximately 2 miles and take the 12East (Pricetown) exit. (You will pass exits for West Reading and the North Wyomissing Blvd. prior to the 12 E exit)
• Follow 12 EAST approximately 2.5 miles to the 11th Street Exit.
• Continue down the exit ramp to your right and onto 11th Street.
• At the traffic light (about 2 blocks) turn left onto Rockland Street. Proceed to the next traffic light (2 blocks) and turn right onto 13th Street.

  DIRECTIONS FROM THE WEST VIA ROUTE 81 NORTH:

• Take 81 North to Interstate 78 East Follow 78E to Exit 7 (Strausstown).
• Follow Route 183 South approximately 20 miles to Reading. You will pass the Reading Municipal Airport on your left as you near Reading.
• Proceed South on 183 for 1.3 miles past the airport. (In municipal areas Rte. 183 is also known as Schuylkill Avenue)
• Follow signs for Route 12 East.
• At the second light, turn right onto Lehigh Street
• Continue (through the Stop sign where right turns do not need to stop) to the intersection.
• Make a right turn onto Route 12 East and continue for 2 miles to the 11th Street Exit.
• Exit to your right onto 11 Street. Continue down the exit ramp to your right and onto 11th Street. At the traffic light (about 2 blocks) turn left onto Rockland Street. Proceed to the next traffic light (2 blocks) and turn right onto 13th Street.

  DIRECTIONS FROM THE WEST VIA PA TURNPIKE: (PITTSBURGH)

• Take the Pennsylvania Turnpike (76E) to Exit 21. (Reading-Ephrata)
• Immediately after the exit, turn right onto 222 North.
• When the expressway ends, proceed North on 222 through municipal areas toward Reading. (In Shillington, 222 is also known as Lancaster Avenue.)
