The
mission of the Nonprofit Management and Leadership
Program is to provide education, training, technical
assistance and support to advance the quality of
the leadership, management and operations of local
nonprofit organizations.
The
objectives of the program are to:
- provide
ongoing educational programs and training for
the staff, board members and other volunteers
of local organizations;
- foster
research on issues of concern to the nonprofit
community;
- develop
avenues of exchange, forums for sharing information
and expertise;
- develop
collaborative efforts among nonprofit organizations
to share resources;
- increase
the community's awareness of local nonprofit services
and opportunites
